مكة المكرمة
The Holiest City in Islam
Makkah Al-Mukarramah is the birthplace of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the holiest city in Islam. Located in the Hejaz region of western Saudi Arabia, it has been a centre of pilgrimage for over 1,400 years. The city is home to Masjid Al-Haram, the largest mosque in the world, which surrounds the Kaaba — the cube-shaped structure considered the House of Allah and the Qibla (direction of prayer) for all Muslims worldwide. Every year, millions of pilgrims converge on Makkah to perform Hajj and Umrah, fulfilling one of Islam's five pillars.

The Grand Mosque — home of the Kaaba, Zamzam Well, Maqam Ibrahim, Safa and Marwa. The largest mosque in the world, accommodating over 4 million worshippers.
The sacred cube-shaped structure at the centre of Masjid Al-Haram. Muslims worldwide face it in prayer. Pilgrims perform Tawaf (circumambulation) around it day and night.
A miraculous spring flowing continuously for over 4,000 years inside Masjid Al-Haram. Its water is considered blessed and consumed by pilgrims worldwide.
The mountain and cave where Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received the very first revelation of the Quran from Angel Jibreel. One of the most profound sites in Islamic history.
The cave where the Prophet and Abu Bakr As-Siddiq took refuge for three days during the migration (Hijra) to Madinah in 622 CE — a celebrated act of trust in Allah.
The vast tent city that hosts pilgrims during Hajj. Home to the Jamarat Bridge where the symbolic stoning of Shaytan takes place each year.
The Mount of Mercy — the most critical site of Hajj where millions gather on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. Standing here is the pinnacle of the pilgrimage.
An open sacred plain between Mina and Arafat. Pilgrims spend the night here under the open sky after Arafat, collecting pebbles for the Jamarat stoning.
Built at the location where a group of Jinn heard the Quran recited by the Prophet (pbuh) and embraced Islam, as mentioned in Surah Al-Jinn (72).
The revered site where the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was born in 570 CE, now the Maktabah Makkah Al-Mukarramah (Library of Makkah).
